The fifth grade strings will perform at 6 p.m. followed by the fourth grade’s presentation of Music Matters by Teresa Jennings. It will be a wonderful night of celebrating music!

Spring Sport Tryouts
Spring tryouts for Baseball, Softball, Track, Field Hockey an Forensics. A current VBCPS sports physical must be on file in order to try out, Tryouts will be for 2 days.
The activity bus will be running a little later to accommodate all students trying out.

Student Dress Code
The purpose of the dress code is to create an environment conducive for all students to learn.
- All shorts, skirts and dresses must meet the length of the longest fingertip when hands are extended at the student's sides.
- Leggins may be worn with a shirt, shorts, skirt/dress that meets the above fingertip length.
- All shirts must have at least a sleeve cap (No sleeveless shirts) and be the length of the torso not revealing any mid-drift.
- Jeans with rips above the knee must be worn with leggins.
- No slides, flip-flops, slippers, or backless shoes may be worn to school for safety reasons.

Connect2Compete (C2C) is a program sponsored by a consortium of cable and Internet service providers nationwide. Locally, Cox Communications participates by offering affordable Internet access and devices to students and families that qualify for the National School Lunch Program. Recently, Cox Communications expanded its outreach to include families receiving services through Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) and the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP).
For participating families, there are no deposits, no installation costs and no modem rental fees. The monthly rate for those who qualify is $9.95 and this discounted rate is guaranteed for two years with no contract. Eligible families with children enrolled in K-12 may apply for the Connect2Compete discounted service online or by phone. Instructions for applying for the service are included on the attached flyer from Cox Communications. Additional information is available by visiting www.connect2compete.org/cox.

All VBCPS Students and Staff have access to free Microsoft Office 2016. Log in to your O365 account and go to the main O365 home page. There you will see "Install Office 2016 on your PC". The install is for PC and / or Mac.
